Lamisil 250mg Tablet works by inhibiting the growth of fungus, which is caused by the overgrowth of yeasts. This fungus develops inside the skin, mouth, and eyes and forms a host of symptoms, including itching, redness, and swelling. It is important to note that this antifungal drug should only be used under the guidance of a healthcare professional. They will determine the appropriate antifungal drug and should discuss Lamisil 250mg Tablet with you within 24 hours.
Lamisil 250mg Tablet acts as a fungistatic agent by inhibiting the activity of an enzyme called ergosterol peroxidase (EpoX). This enzyme increases the level of ergosterol, which leads to the formation of a colored reaction product called terbinafine (Lamisil 250mg Tablet). This terbinafine derivative binds to the Polysorbate 40 (P40) of fungus and prevents it from growing.
